Phil Walker
Israel captured Phil’s heart early in his life. So of course Phil and his wife Debbie began their overseas experience in Israel when they worked for six months in 1972. After the birth of their three sons and completion of undergraduate work, they returned to Israel in 1977 where they helped develop a Christian training program working and living with volunteers on Kibbutzim. When the door to Israel was closed for them in 1986 God directed Phil and Debbie to move to Kenya It is there where they founded International Christian Ministries. Phil is a visionary, pioneer, and teacher. He is a strong communicator who loves to move from the ivory tower of ideas and research to the arena of application.
